The North Texas Community Giving Foundation (NTCGF) is pleased to announce that healthcare industry leader, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco has lined up again and will serve as presenting sponsor for the 3rd annual

Texas Big Star Half Marathon & 5K

The race will begin and end at Collin College Preston Ridge Campus 9700 Wade Blvd., Frisco, Texas 75035 on April 14, 2018.

“Texas Big Star Half Marathon & 5K is excited to have Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco renew their commitment as our leading sponsor,” Texas Big Star Half Marathon & 5K race director Paul Simon said. “We are honored to have them as a partner in recognizing this race greatly impacts our community and gives back in a big way,” he added. Last year’s race brought in over 2000 runners and raised over $100,000 to provide several local organizations with a financial boost to assist in their efforts to benefit the communities they serve. This year’s race ushers in new offerings, including a 1-Mile fun run at 7:20 AM, which is immediately after the start of the half- marathon and 5K races. There’s also a fresh start to where the race begins and ends as Collin College has merged its Cougar Run 5 with #RunBigStar. A portion of this year’s proceeds will help fund Collin College Foundation scholarships. The wildly popular Finisher’s Fest will be back again and even bigger with amenities to celebrate a strong finish and sense of accomplishment. Registration is well underway for the Texas Big Star Half Marathon, 5K and 1-Mile.

Register early for discounted rates. All experience levels are welcome to #RunBigStar. Corporate teams are encouraged to register as well.
