Thank You

Highly recommend this race.  It is very well organized and I have had a great time both times I have run this race.  Last year's course was great and the crowds were awesome.  I will running this race again in 2018!

MARC

I got my Half Marathon PR at the 2017 race!  Texas Big Star is a fantastic event with great race and spectator support.

My company participated as a corporate team last year. We got team shirts and had over 50 people join to walk or run.  It was a great way to connect with co-workers and give back to the community.

As a runner and a pace team captain, I am extremely impressed with both the Texas Big Star Leadership Team and the Race.  It is one of the best, local half marathons in North Texas and separates itself by its focus on giving back to our local community by donating all proceeds to multiple charities.  This race is festive, fun and extremely well organized. It has quickly become one of my "must run" races.

RICK

Texas Big Star is a jewel of a race - super friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere, close proximity to many family-friendly restaurants and activities and one of the best post-race celebrations!  Overall, very-well organized and great community event!

MARY

We runners often travel far to run a half marathon. Even local Dallas area races require us to get up at the crack of dawn and fight traffic in order to be on time for the line-up at the start. With the Texas Big Star we now have our very own half marathon in Frisco. With a wonderful team of volunteers, nice flat course and great entertainment at the finish, this event easily matches up with any of the other half marathons around. At the core, the Texas Big Star are people who are runners, who care about running and the athletes … and that shows in the way the whole event is put together!
